Piecrust skyline

Between Aurora and Piketberg is a flattish area and the scalloped skyline reveals what one otherwise tends to forget - that in geologically recent times this was a wide stretch of dunes, with such interesting things as prehistoric bears and short-necked giraffes roaming around (and not too long before that it was a continental shelf, under the sea.)

Sensible composition for such a landscape - I love the spaciousness of the scene.
