Lamberts Bay

Our destination was Lamberts Bay, a little way up the West Coast towards Namibia. Several of the boats here are involved with diamond prospecting, offshore - but the main attractions for tourists are the seals and the gannet colony. On this trip, we confined ourselves to the gulls and the boats and an excellent seafood lunch.

Wow - do these images take me down memory lane ..... I was in Lamberts Bay when I was 14 years old - that's almost 40 years ago!! Still looks as beautiful as way back then.
