Handprint in a cave

The "caves" are actually slanted stone overhangs and fissures in the cluster of rocks, in the sort of commanding situation that the San people favoured - you could watch the movement of game from well above the valley, and then quickly move down under cover of the head-high undergrowth and stalk your preferred dinner. Most paintings seem to have had an almost spiritual significance, probably related to success in the hunt and the giving of thanks to the animal for so generously providing them with sustenance. Often, amongst the paintings of game would be a handprint such as this one.

Its ok if the appearance of your blog is not good. The important thing is the topic or the content of your blog.
