One of the greatest possible events - Etienne has now, with a bit of help from me, bought this gorgeous 18-ton 43ft gaff-rigged sloop, built 1934 in solid teak! I hope to be on the water quite a lot for a while - she is lying in Saldanha - although once Etienne moves her to Simonstown it won't be quite so easy... More later, when I've caught my breath.
