Aurora's airfield


Yes this tiny village has a landing strip, maintained by a local farmer so that the pilot who does the local crop-spraying can drop in for lunch at Helmut's restaurant if he feels like it. Once in a while we have a "fly-in" of enthusiasts who come for breakfast or for a cup of coffee. This Pitts Special is parked just inside the village's security fence...
