The brightly coloured flowers that flourish here surprise and delight me. I have no idea what most of them are. Interestingly the tropical bougainvillea that flourishes in Aurora's hotter and drier climate seems to struggle in this wetter environment.I wonder whether the brightly colourful buildings that I see here have anything to do with the climate (I'll show some in future posts) or is there another reason, perhaps cultural?
