This old Aurora cottage is on the market - the owner has moved - and will probably be sold to a retired couple, since prices here are still affordable. But there are many "holiday homes" being sold because people are having to tighten belts in present times. Is this a world-wide phenomenon, I wonder?

More than a wrold-wide phenomenon. Here in the U.S.,you are lucky to have that extra home to sell. Many people are being forced to give up their only home.
