The fast set

I'm back in Aurora from Singapore, with crowded memories of a society that is technologically on the cutting edge, but retains century-old customs and traditions that have a distinctly colonial flavour. I find this mix thoroughly enchanting! This picture is of the cover of a Polo Club restaurant menu. And yes - polo is still played there, the stables are full of beautifully groomed horses (kept a bit cool by big ceiling fans) and someone has wandered out onto the field and is replacing divots kicked up in the last game...

It would be fun to see a polo game someday!
