Syringa


In a warm climate, the syringa tree can grow enormous - and can begin shedding huge branches. The answer is to try and trim branches before they split off the main trunk, as this one did, and cut them into logs to be split for winter fuel.

That is quite the massive branch! He's cutting them much thinner than I would expect for splitting into firewood, though.
