I'm back in Aurora at last, after an eventful but Internet-devoid time in Pretoria, and I paid a visit to a house I'd designed earlier. The combination of rough rosewood beam, sliding sash window complete with reflection of a very distant view, and a well-chosen light fitting, was particularly pleasing.
