Horse in striped pyjamas

Zebras always look so sleek and well-fed - but the truth seems to be that they are often full of baby zebra or of gas. Either way, this Pilanesberg zebra is pretty tame and quite curious.
Pilanesberg National Park, by the way, is in the eroded cusp of a huge volcano - taller than Kilimanjaro, I believe. Wonderful sight seen from 20,000 ft, from a flight between Johannesburg and Rio (but I got no photos that time around.)

No doubt about it this is a fine looking zebra and it looks like she might be carrying a new zebra. I don't know anything about them except that they are always falling victim to some lion or crocodile. It is a nice photograph. How close were you? It looks like you could reach how and give her something to eat.

I hope you can visit “Pick a Peck of Pixels” and leave a comment or become a Follower. I am trying to get to 10,000 visitors or followers in a short period of time with this new blog. If I am successful, all of those who left comments or became Followers will also make history with me. It has never been done before.

Z is for Zebra! Wonderful Zebra photo! I'll comment on this pic since today's Rhino's rubbing stone doesn't show a Rhino! Z!

I just love this pic, I think it's just the mix of colors, and the textures that you can almost feel.
