Another kind of sculpture

I promised to show you another of my sons' sculptures, and here it is.

The "Leonardo Man" in the middle of this work is life-sized. The timber-and-brass rings that encircle him, each ring bearing mythical flying beasts, move independently and unpredictably, prompted into movement at random intervals by a computer. The sculpture had to be assemled and tested in a 4-storey high building before finally being suspened in the huge dome of a shopping centre, at Century City in Cape Town.
