Helmut's Austrian restaurant

Aurora has the rare distinction of having a well-loved Austrian restaurant and Austrian-born restaurateur. (Also, two small "general dealer" shops, a part-time Municipality and library, a school and a postal agency. That's it.) So Helmut's is an indispensable hub to the village, where excellent Austrian cuisine is available and Helmut is cook, barman, maitre d' and all. The place is cluttered with amazing memorabilia. The sheepskin-covered saddle is used by those who feel they need a greater grip on things, and a notice under the clock says "DANCING ON THE BAR COUNTER CAN BE DANGEROUS - MANAGEMENT WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY MISHAPS OR INJURIES SUSTAINED."
