Roadside flowers

We've had a stunning flower season so far - lots of rain this year, cold fronts come up from the Antarctic and hit the West Coast every few days, it's cold here now, I have a heater on next to the computer, and squalls of rain slap at us every few minutes. In the Northern parts of SA people are sweltering in 35-40 degree temperatures, and bush fires cause havoc. Hardly seems like the same country.
