Every year, during the August flower season, Aurora holds a gymkhana. My favourite spectator event is tent-pegging and these two are some of the best competitors in their field.
Preparations for the show begin early, and there are a variety of events. The "Spinning Jennys" demonstrate their skills with newly shorn wool, the owners of vintage tractors and other farm vehicles show their paces, there are pancakes and home-made jams - it's a nostalgic trip back into the past.
