Meerkat

This little chap was reared by a neighbour. He was very tame and loved being cuddled. But I believe that most wild creatures are better off in the wild, and that being pampered and petted probably shortened his brief, although happy, life.

Interestingly, his companions included a pet crow, a whippet, and a goat that thought it was a watchdog and always joined the whippet in challenging visitors.
