I miss Vic terribly, and coming home to an "empty" home was gut-wrenching. While I was in Gisborne, however, we looked at videos taken about 10 years ago, of a trip in the KNP, Swaziland, Zululand and Golden Gate, and it was so comforting to think back to the good times, pre-wheelchair and illness. This picture was taken when Tony and Sandy visited us some 5 or 6 years back, in Aurora.

We miss him very much too. We were away skiing over Dad's birthday. I was stirring the porridge when I heard the date. It's amazing what sets you off - no added salt required in the porridge!
