Flying at Aurora

The security fence, runway and landside instrumentation (windsock) at Aurora are intended for the use of cropsprayers but there are others with Microlights and Cessnas and Pipers and Pitts Specials that drop in for coffee on occasion. (you can Google earth the strip if you don't believe me!)

This one is specially for John in Pasadena. More to follow, every now and then.

Brilliant! Yes, that is a Citabria Super Decathlon. The name "Citabria" is airbatic spelled backward, reflecting the purpose of the plane, which is aerobatic in nature.

I have flew a Citabria to get my "tail dragger" ticket. We did loops, rolls and a few spins before I had to land due to my confused stomach...
